This Privacy Policy explains how ThryvePay, a service of Thryve Advisors LLC (“ThryvePay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website at thryvepay.usand our merchant onboarding and application process (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes the choices you have regarding your information. This policy provides general information; the terms that govern any merchant account you open with us are set out in your separate merchant services agreement.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us

We collect information you submit directly, including:

Contact and lead details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, estimated processing volume, areas of interest, and any message you send us through our forms.
Merchant application details: collected on the Thryve Advisors application portal, not on this website. Business information (legal name, DBA, tax identification number, business type, address, phone, website, and industry classification), beneficial owner and principal information (name, title, ownership percentage, date of birth, government identification number, contact details, and home address), processing profile, and bank account information used for settlement are submitted there.

This website does not collect sensitive identifiers. Full Social Security numbers, Employer Identification Numbers, and bank account numbers are submitted on the Thryve Advisors application portal, transmitted securely to our payment processing partner, and are not retained by us in plain text.

Information we collect automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as your device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and referring pages. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you accept them through our cookie banner.

Information from third parties

To evaluate merchant applications submitted on the Thryve Advisors application portal, our payment processing partner and its underwriting and verification providers may collect and share information about you and your business, including identity, credit, and risk verification data, consistent with their own privacy practices and applicable law.

To provide, maintain, and support the Services and respond to your inquiries.

To analyze and improve our website, products, and customer experience.
To comply with legal, regulatory, card-network, and contractual obligations.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are necessary for the site to function. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

Service providers and processors: with our payment processing partner (Finix) for payments and underwriting, and with the vendors that run this website: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), Google Analytics (analytics, loaded only after you opt in), and Calendar.com (call scheduling). Each acts on our behalf and under contract.
Financial institutions and card networks: as needed to enable underwriting, settlement, and payment processing.
Legal and compliance: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ThryvePay, our customers, or others.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, to comply with our legal, tax, underwriting, and card-network obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. This website itself retains only the contact and lead details you submit through its forms; it holds no government or bank identifiers to retain.

Data security

This website does not process payments and stores no government or bank identifiers. Payment processing and merchant underwriting run on our processing partner’s PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure, with encryption in transit and at rest and tokenization. The information this site does collect — the contact and lead details described above — is transmitted over TLS and held by our hosting and database providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
